Lent Meetings


Wednesday 26 March 2025 at 7:00 PM at Cradley village hall
'CHRIST AND THE CHOCOLATERIE', a series of Lent Meetings based on the film version of a novel by Joanna Harris, runs over 6 weeks on Wednesday evenings from 5 March to 9 April at 7.00 p.m. in Cradley village hall. led by Jane MacFarlane, Lay Minister. Community Charity Lunches


Tuesday 1 April 2025 at 12:00 PM at Mathon Parish Hall
Lunches of bread, cheeses and home made soups. Donations of at least £2.50 are invited, in aid of this year's nominated charities, 'We Are Farming Minds' and 'Medecins Sans Frontieres' (Doctors without Borders). midday until 2.00 p.m.

"The Man Who Planted Trees" and "Riversong"

"The Man Who Planted Trees" A story for our time in words and song about Man's relationship with Nature and with his fellow man. Presented by 'Folk from the Fold'
and
"Riversong" A sequence of tunes, song and spoken word exploring our relationship with inland waterways. Presented by Barry Walmsley, Malcolm Myatt and Trevor Ponman.

FREE EVENT at 7.30pm in Storridge Church, WR13 5EY.

This event is part of the Storridge Literary and Music Festival.

Cradley Organ Concert


Sunday 4 May 2025 at 3:00 PM at Cradley church
Organ Concert by Owen Chan, international organist, and previously, Organ Scholar, Merton College, Oxford.
Improvisations on readings from TOLKIEN and Bach's famous Passacaglia and Fugue in c minor.
