Throughout the year the Church organises events to bring the village together and to celebrate milestones in the christian year.

Returning to Cradley: John Parsons & Carl Attwood on violin and piano


Saturday 8 August 2026 at 5:00 PM at Cradley church
Returning to Cradley: John Parsons & Carl Attwood on violin and piano.
A one-hour concert (starting at 5 p.m.) followed by drinks and nibbles featuring works by Bach, Beethoven, Brahms and "friends".

After their popular concert last year, John and Carl will be returning to Cradley church on 8 August. John, a freelance violinist working across southern England, and Carl, who combined his role as Rector of Colwall Church with a career as a pianist (including his time as House Pianist on the Terry Wogan Show), will bring perform a mix of classical favourites. The programme will include Bach's soulful Sonata in E minor, Beethoven's Romance in F, and Brahms's passionate Sonata in A.

Community coffee morning

A community Coffee Morning in Mathon church / churchyard (with stalls), from 10.30 a.m. until noon. Come and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and meet up with friend, or make new ones! All welcome.

Mathon Advent Fair
